In the last few years, the "Altes Drahtwerk Hanau" (the old Hanau Filament Factory), on the Frankfurter Landstraße 52-58, has developed into a center of attraction for several young and creative companies. Two schools for media design, several advertising agencies, studios and software companies are located here, as well as film and music production companies and one of the region’s largest rental companies. The fitness studio and the sports school are in the same courtyard, and you can have your car checked at the garage there during the working hours. The “Freie Christengemeinde Hanau” church, several lawyers and architects have found a domicile here as well. The companies here often work together. Sometimes, they even meet under the old chestnut tree in the courtyard to talk about new projects.

The city of Hanau is located in the commercial center of the Rhein-Main area, only 25 km away from downtown Frankfurt/Main. Hanau, native town of the world-famous Grimm Brothers, is also known for its extensive program of cultural events and activities.
